Students must declare a major in Anthropology through the Academic Advising Center. To be admitted as a major, you must have a 2.0 overall GPA. Concentrations in Anthropology
Undergraduates can concentrate their studies in one or more of the four subfields: Archaeology, Biological, Cultural, and/or Linguistic Anthropology. All degrees granted to undergraduate students are in Anthropology rather than the area of concentration. We have developed guidance on specific concentrations in Anthropology. You should select upper-division electives that complement your interests in anthropology and career goals. You should consult with a faculty member with expertise in your area of interest for suggestions on additional classes.
