Welcome to all the new faculty and graduate students and to everyone that has been gone this summer, Welcome Back to the University of Florida Department of Anthropology!
Again this year we are kicking off the academic year with a cookout at Depot Park on Sunday, August 25th from 1-4 pm and hope you are up to joining us!  The department is providing hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers and Trevor Duke has kindly agreed to return as our grill master. We will have non-alcoholic drinks available, but Box Car is right there if you want to enjoy an adult beverage. We are asking everyone to bring a side dish or dessert to share and show off your skills.   Hopefully we can all enjoy a sunny Florida afternoon before the ball really gets rolling on the semester!
