Teaching Assistant Workshops

Starting Monday, January 6, the new series of Teaching Assistant Workshops coordinated by the UF Teaching Center in conjunction with the Graduate School will begin.

The focus this semester will be on the effective use of technology in the classroom.

The 14 sessions will cover topics from how to use the equipment in your classroom to advanced features of Sakai to teaching online courses to developing a teaching portfolio.

You can earn a “Teaching with Technology” certificate of participation by attending 10 of the 14 workshops.

Except for the first week, all of the workshops are planned for Tuesday afternoons from 5-7pm.

Space is limited in some sessions so early registration is to your advantage.

If you have any questions, please e-mail Dr. Winnie Cooke, director of the UF Teaching Center.
