Biological Anthropology

Katie Franklin is a Ph.D. Candidate in Biological Anthropology at the University of Florida, specializing in comparative anatomy, craniofacial development, and primate evolution. Her research explores the relationship between the growth of soft tissues and hard tissues of the skull throughout ontogeny, utilizing methods such as geometric morphometrics, histology, and functional morphology. Katie completed a Gross Anatomy Teaching Fellowship at High Point University and currently serves as the Lab manager for the DeLeon Virtual Morphology Lab.
