In an intersection between Anthropology and Archaeology, the current research aims to understand how the process of cultural revitalization and retaken process of traditional lands started by the Pataxó people in the late 1990s are related to their cosmological vision of places and how this is wholly articulated to indigenous peoples in America continent. It is also essential to think about how this cosmological vision should be promoted in the field of Law. The research is based on many Pataxó intellectuals who began to write and think about themselves.
