Research Interests
My research focuses on the coastal archaeology of north-central Chile, exploring how local ecologies shaped the complex social trajectories of mobile populations. Framed within the broader context of Andean coastal developments, my work uses ethnoarchaeological models of present-day mobility to understand past processes and the emergence of political organization systems.
