Research Interests

Development models and their evolution

Tracing the evolution of various development models over time and analyzing their effectiveness in different regions and contexts. Understanding how development paradigms have shifted, the factors that have influenced these shifts, and the outcomes they have produced.

Sports-based community development

Focusing on exploring how sports can be effectively utilized as a tool for promoting community development. It involves studying the various ways in which sports programs and initiatives can contribute to development outcomes, youth empowerment, and overall community well-being. Identifying best practices, challenges, and the impact of sports in different cultural and socioeconomic contexts.

Sports diplomacy and International relations

The role of sports in shaping international relations and diplomacy. Examining how sports events, exchanges, and collaborations between nations can foster cross-cultural understanding, mitigate conflicts, and strengthen diplomatic ties. The impact of major sporting events on geopolitical dynamics and the use of sports as a soft power tool in international politics.

Sustainability and replication of community development models

Sustainability and scalability of sports-based community development models. Studying how effective community development initiatives rooted in sports can be replicated and adapted in different regions or communities. Identifying the key factors that contribute to the long-term viability of such models, including organizational structures, funding mechanisms, community engagement strategies, and the role of local leadership.
