Neill Wallis is Curator of Florida Archaeology at the Florida Museum, specializing in the archaeology of Indigenous cultures of Florida and the Southeastern U.S. His research investigates the development and dynamic histories of early aggregated communities, their environments, and the social networks that connected them, using methods such as targeted field survey and excavation, technological and compositional analyses of pottery, and various other types of materials analysis. Dr. Wallis also serves as an editor of the FLMNH Ripley P. Bullen Series, University of Florida Press.
