A Bag-Lunch Forum with Dr. John Yellen, Director of the National Science Foundation’s Archaeology Program, Monday April 4, 12:30-1:30 pm, Pugh 210 

Dr. John Yellen, director of the National Science Foundation’s Archaeology Program, will be on campus April 4th and 5th to participate in Parting the Red Sea – An International Workshop on Late Pleistocene Stone Artifact Variability and Human Dispersals in the Horn of Africa and Arabia.

 

Dr. Yellen has kindly offered to hold a bag-lunch open forum on NSF’s archaeology program, and especially grant proposal submissions on Monday April 4, 12:30-1:30pm in Pugh 210.

 

Faculty, staff and students are also welcome to attend the Parting the Red Sea International Workshop. Sponsors for both events include the UF Office of Research, Center for African Studies, France-Florida Research Institute, Center for Humanities in the Public Sphere and Department of Anthropology.
