Anthropology is a diverse and important discipline, with many subfields and interdisciplinary outlets that empower students with a higher understanding of a globalized world, vital skills of critical and integrative thinking and a holistic philosophy. Anthropologists have jobs and contribute to knowledge and progress in such essential fields as education, social activism, diplomacy, preservation, philanthropy, medicine, forensics, law and politics.
The Anthropology Department depends on gifts to fund student travel to meetings, undergraduate and graduate scholarships, dissertation and field school awards, lecture series, laboratory enhancements and other initiatives. Review a list of Anthropology Endowments and Funds.
