Congratulations to Drs. Catherine Tucker, Marit Østebø, and Pete Collings were recently named 2021-2024 Term Professors.  These three-year professorships were created by UF to recognize faculty who have established a distinguished record of research and scholarship that is expected to lead to continuing distinction in their field.

Dr. Aaron Broadwell’s collaborative project ‘Ticha’ wins award for best digital humanities blog in 2020

Ticha, a digital text explorer for Colonial Valley Zapotec, won an award for best digital humanities blog in 2020.  Dr. George Aaron Broadwell is one of the founders of Ticha, which is a collaborative project between linguists, historians, and Zapotec people to make historical texts in indigenous languages accessible to communities.
