Dr. John Moore was a professor of anthropology and also served as Chair of UF Anthropology from 1993-1998 and as the Graduate Coordinator from 2001-2003. His own research specialized in North American Indian ethnology, kinship, demography, and social evolution. His dedication to the department, our university, and the field of anthropology will be remembered.
