The Department of Anthropology hosts a wide variety of academic, cultural and social events throughout the school year. Explore the list below for some of the regular department events we offer.
- FASA Colloquium: Weekly lectures featuring graduate students, faculty members from Anthropology and affiliated units, and occasionally, visiting students and scholars.
- Graduate Professionalism Seminars: Workshops for graduate students to improve professional skills.
- Fall Feast: The fall potluck and meet-and-greet; a fundraiser for graduate student travel grants.
- Armadillo Roast: The spring cookout involving exotic meat; a fundraiser for the Fairbanks archaeological scholarship.
