CLACSO

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) cordially invites you to its Fiftieth International Conference: Challenges of the Social Sciences in Times of Crisis. 

Objective of the Conference: To rethink and evaluate the social sciences from a critical, alternative, and transformative perspective and its role for the Mesoamerican Region from three thematic approaches:

Topics: 1. Contested States and Policies

  1. Capitalist Processes and Dynamics
  2. Subjects and Alternatives 

Dates: From October 24 – 26, 2017 

Target Participants: Scholars, students, young people, participants of social movements, and CLACSO members.

Place: University of San Carlos, College of Political Science and History, Guatemala City. 

Deadline to submit proposals for a panel or papers: August 19, 2017
